Self-parking for one car per hotel room booked is available. If you are looking to get the vacation started early in the day, parking your car in the parking lot from 2:00PM onwards is often possible. Check-out is at 11:00AM. Please ensure you register your car and pick up your parking pass upon arrival.

Additional Parking is available to purchase for $30 per car per night from September 5 - October 31, 2024 and again February 28 - April 30, 2025.

Metered parking can be found on McKinley Street (southern side of Block Party, between Atlantic Oceanside and Mama Maria's) or on Dagsworth Street (opposite side of Coastal Highway to Block Party, parking on the right). These are metered with the ParkMobile App. Parking and payment at your own risk.

Q1. What if I lose my phone? Please alert the front desk as soon as possible, we will be able to issue you with a key card.

Q2. Can I make a phone call and use OpenKey at the same time? Yes! You can activate your key and open your room door while on a call without needing to hang up.

Q3. Do I have to use my phone number? Why? Yes, your mobile phone number is required in order for you to retrieve a digital key for your stay. This is also a security measure, as a custom digital key is created and uniquely assigned to the phone number associated wiht your device and no one else.

Q4. I got an error message when trying to download the app / trying to acces the room. Please check your bluetooth and WiFi connection capabilities on your smartphone. Please check with the front desk if the error continues.

Q5. I downloaded the app, but there is no key. Please connect with the front desk who will ensure that you have checked-in to the hotel, picked up your parking pass and have your phone number/email and payment on file.

Q6. Does OpenKey work on all phones? Currently, OpenKey works on Android and iOS devices.

Cancellations policies vary based on the rate booked online. To cancel a reservation made directly with Block Party Hotels please cancel online or call the hotel directly on 302-227-4000.
- Best Available Fully Flexible Rate: Full payment due 3 days prior to arrival. You may cancel your reservation without penalty up to three days prior to the arrival date. Should you cancel your stay with the window of 3 days prior to your arrival, you will forfeit the room and tax for the duration of your stay.
- Advance Purchase Non-Refundable: Full payment required 24 hours after booking. Should you cancel your stay at any time after 24 hours from time of booking, you will incur a penalty of the room and tax for the duration of your stay.
Reservations made through a Third Party or Online Travel Agent (Expedia / Booking.com for example), please refer back to your travel agent to cancel your booking or make changes.

If you need to make changes to your reservation, please connect directly with the hotel on 302-227-4000. Please be aware that if you make any changes to your reservation, the rate may change accordingly.

CREDIT CARD UPDATES: Should you wish to pay the balance with a different card, please notify the hotel at least 8 busines days prior to your arrival. Hotel - 302-227-4000.
Reservations made through a Third Party or Online Travel Agent (Expedia / Booking.com for example), please refer back to your travel agent to cancel your booking or make changes.

When booking online at Blockpartyhotels.com the following rate rules apply:

Best Available Fully Flexible Rate: Cancellations 3 days prior to arrival will forfeit room and tax for duration of stay. Payment in full is due 3 day prior to arrival.
Advance Purchase Non-Refundable: Cancellations from time of booking to arrival day forfeit room and tax for duration of stay. Payment in full is due at time of booking

All guests will be required to have a credit card on file during their stay.

All of our rooms, public areas and amenities are smoke-free. Smoking in your hotel room may result in a damage fee charged to your room bill of $250.00.

Pets are welcome to stay with us at Atlantic Oceanside Dewey. We allow cats and dogs. Pet fee for all pets is $30 per night.

Dogs must be on the leash at all times on hotel property.
Dogs may not make use of the swimming pools - these are for the human-kind only - Thank you.
You're welcome to bring your pet's crate if necessary.

In Dewey Beach, dogs may be unleashed at the beach. 
Leashed or unleashed dogs are permitted on the beach before 9:30am and after 5:30pm (May 15 - September 15).
Outside of these times, dogs are permitted on the beach any time of day.

All room rates are based occupancy by room type:
- King Room (2 persons) - One Additional occupant is $15/night + tax, two additional occupantants if $30/night + tax
- Double Room (4 persons) - One Additional occupant is $15/night + tax, two additional occupantants if $30/night + tax
- Deluxe King (3 persons) - One Additional occupant is $15/night + tax, two additional occupantants if $30/night + tax
- Deluxe Double (5 persons) - One Additional occupant is $15/night + tax, two additional occupantants if $30/night + tax
- Studio (2 persons) - One Additional occupant is $15/night + tax, two additional occupantants if $30/night + tax
- Suite (4 persons) - One Additional occupant is $15/night + tax, two additional occupantants if $30/night + tax

Each additional person over the age of 16 in one of the respective rooms outlined above, will be charged $15.00 per person per night.

Example:

Beach House Dewey Standard Double Room – 4 persons. So the 5th person is an additional $15.00.

CASH PAYING:

Should you wish to pay cash upon arrival, please note that full payment will be made on the credit card provided at time of booking and can be refunded on receipt of cash. Please note that based on your bank, it may take up to 14 days for those funds to return to your account.

All guests will be required to have a credit card on file for the duration of the stay.

Block Party Hotels no longer operates a guest laundry onsite. We recommend using one of the following two locations should you need to wash/dry:

Ocean Suds: 18675 Coastal Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

Roundabout Laundromat: 425 Rehoboth Ave Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

Check-out time is 11:00AM.

Late Check-out options are:
- 6-hour late check-out, through to 5:00PM: $50
- 3-hour late check-out, through to 2:00PM: $30

DART Park and Ride Options

There are two swimming pools at Block Part Hotels. As a guest of Block Party Hotels, you may use both pools during your stay.

Swimming Pools are open daily from 9:00AM - 9:00PM

There is no lifeguard on duty.

Due to fire precautions, BBQs are not permitted at the Block Party. Firepits are available on the beach. For more information please connect with the Dewey Beach Surf Shop

If you are staying at Block Party Hotels and get locked out of your guestroom, please make your way to the hotel lobby (located under the large 'Block Party Hotels' sign between the two buildings).

During the shoulder season the lobby may close after 11:00PM at night and re-open at 7:00AM. During this time, there will be a telephone number posted on the glass door of the lobby, indicating an emergency number to call in case you need immediate assistance.
