CANCELLATIONS:

• Cancellations policies vary based on the rate booked online.
  • Cancellations policies vary based on the rate booked online.  To cancel a reservation made directly with Block Party Hotels please cancel online or call the hotel directly on 302-227-4000.   To cancel a reservation made through a third party online travel agent, please refer back to the travel agent.
    • Best Available Fully Flexible Rate:  Full payment due 3 days prior to arrival.  You may cancel your reservation without penalty up to three days prior to the arrival date.  Should you cancel your stay with the window of 3 days prior to your arrival, you will forfeit the room and tax for the duration of your stay.
    • Semi-Flex Rate:  First Night's Room and Tax required 24 hours after booking.  Full Balance due 14 days prior to arrival.  Payment taken via credit card.  You may cancel your reservation without penalty within the first 24 hours of booking.  Cancellations after 24 hours of confirmation to 14 days will incur a penalty of the one nights room and tax.  Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will incur a penalty of the room and tax for the duration of your stay.
    • Advance Purchase Non-Refundable: Full payment required 24 hours after booking.   Should you cancel your stay at any time after 24 hours from time of booking, you will incur a penalty of the room and tax for the duration of your stay.
    • CREDIT CARD UPDATES:  Should you wish to pay the balance with a different card, please notify the hotel at least 8 business days prior to your arrival.  Hotel - 302-227-4000.
    • CASH PAYING: Should you wish to pay cash upon arrival, please note that full payment will be made on the credit card provided at time of booking and can be refunded on receipt of cash.   Please note that based on your bank, it may take up to 14 days for those funds to return to your account.
    • INCIDENTAL HOLD: Upon check-in, the hotel will authorize the card presented for the amount of $50.   This is an authorization hold only.  The funds are held in place to cover any costs of parking or incidentals (or potential damages).    The $50 authorization is released the day after check-out.  The funds are placed back into your bank account or onto your credit card statement within 7-10 business days (some Credit Unions take a little longer.). The time it takes for the amount to fall back on your card is relevant to your bank.    We advise using a credit card for incidentals so that the hold of $50 does not effect funds in your checking account (when using debit cards).  

OCCUPANCY OF ROOMS

• All room rates are based on 2 persons sharing a room.
  • Additional Adult (over 17+ years) is $15 per person per night.
  • Additional Child (under 17 years) is free
• Some rooms sleep more than 2 people. Please see below the maximum number of people permitted to occupancy each type of room:
  • Beach House Dewey King Room  - Max Occupancy is 2 persons
  • Beach House Dewey Double Room - Max Occupancy is 5 persons
  • Beach House Dewey King Suite - Max Occupancy is 5 persons
  • Atlantic Oceanside King Room - Max Occupancy is 2 persons
  • Atlantic Oceanside Deluxe King Room with Sofa Bed - Max Occupancy is 4 persons
  • Atlantic Oceanside Deluxe King Room with Sofa Bed and Partial Ocean View - Max Occupancy is 4 persons
  • Atlantic Oceanside King Efficiency Room - Max Occupancy is 3 persons
  • Atlantic Oceanside Double Room - Max Occupancy is 5 persons
  • Atlantic Oceanside Deluxe Double Room with Sofa Bed - Max Occupancy is 6 persons
  • Inflatable mattresses available for $15/night.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES

• Early check-in:  Guestroom check-in time is 4.00PM.   Unfortunately we cannot guarantee an early check-in during peak season (even at an additional cost). However, please call the hotel on your day of arrival and we can try to accommodate you.  
• Late checkout options: Check-out time is 11:00AM.
  • Late checkout options subject to availability, pricing may vary.
    • 6-hour late check-out, through to 5:00PM
    • 3-hour late check-out, through to 2:00PM
• Pet Fee is $35 per night
• Parking is $12.00 per night.   
• Hotel requires a valid credit card to be on file for the duration of your stay. 
• Taxes paid on bookings are as follows:
  • Delaware Lodging Tax:  8%
  • Dewey Beach Lodging Tax: 3%
